Exceedingly bright pickups with loads of quack if you in favor for that. "Pinky" soundish with clear articulation.
Slightly more beefier and brighter than 57/62, but far more vintage sounding than Fat 50´s. These have flat tops magnets compared to beveled on 57/62.
Best of the three is the neck pickup. But like all 50's pickups that is susceptible to height difference . Play with the pickup height to dial them in.

Featured on the Fender American Vintage '56 from 2012-2017. The boxed versions was available from late 2013 until late 2016. These lands in between Texas Special and 57/62´s. Clear and warm but a thick sound with wonderful 2 & 4 tones and is close to the 54's due to use of Alnico 3, but slightly flatter and thicker sounding. This was sold (what seems) in very limited quantities. Discontinued and not easy to find.
